Sessions, groups & Excel export

Organize saved servers

Select + Group to create a group such as Production or Staging. Assign profiles to it when creating or editing them. Profiles without a group appear under Ungrouped.

Groups and Recents refer to saved profiles. A profile can have multiple open tabs, so sidebar counts are not TCP connection counts.

Sidebar groups organize saved profiles; top tabs represent open instances.

Open the session manager

Right-click + Session, the Groups heading, a group or an SSH tab, then choose SSH Session manager. It does not open automatically at startup. Drag its borders to change the size and height.

The manager provides new, copy, delete, properties, groups, favorites and search. Search by name, host or username, then edit the port, authentication preference or description.

Copy creates a new saved profile, unlike Duplicate Session on a tab. Verify the selected item before deleting a saved profile.

Export Excel

  1. Open the session manager.
  2. Select Export Excel….
  3. Choose a destination .xlsx file.
  4. Open it in Excel or a compatible reader and check the headers and profile count.

The export includes all saved profiles, regardless of the current search, group or favorites filter. Headers follow the interface language. The workbook contains connection metadata and private-key paths, but no passwords, private-key contents or passphrases.

This is an inventory export. Excel import and migration of saved Windows credentials are not supported.
