BranchTerm workspace tour

BranchTerm organizes local development terminals by project, with file browsing and previews alongside them. It shares terminal implementation with eShell while keeping product identity, configuration and history separate.

Saved sessions are not running processes

A session saves a shell, arguments and working directory. Restarting restores descriptions, not previous processes or commands.

Closing a terminal tab ends that shell and its tasks while retaining its launch configuration and output snapshot. Reopening starts a new process. Use View output history from the session/tab menu to read a saved snapshot.

Working with both apps

SSH server groups, authentication, connection progress and SFTP belong to eShell. BranchTerm Projects refer to local directories. eShell can also open a local terminal from the + Session context menu.
